1. Morning in Täsch

Starting Point: Täsch, a quaint village serving as the gateway to car-free Zermatt.

Train to Zermatt: Hop on the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn shuttle for a scenic 12-minute ride to Zermatt. Trains run every 20 minutes, and a return ticket costs CHF 17.20

2. Exploring Zermatt

Village Stroll: Wander through Zermatt's charming streets, lined with traditional chalets and boutique shops.

Market Square: Immerse yourself in local culture at the vibrant market square, perfect for souvenirs and Swiss delicacies.

Matterhorn Views: Capture stunning photos of the iconic Matterhorn from various viewpoints around the village

3. Gornergrat Bahn Experience

Boarding: From Zermatt, take the Gornergrat Bahn, the highest open-air cogwheel railway in Europe. The journey to the Gornergrat summit takes about 33 minutes, ascending over 1,500 meters

Tickets: A round-trip ticket costs CHF 106.0

Scenic Ride: Enjoy panoramic views of the Alps, including the majestic Matterhorn, during the ascent.

4. Gornergrat Ski Resort

Arrival: At 3,089 meters, the Gornergrat offers unparalleled vistas of 29 peaks over 4,000 meters and the Gorner Glacier.

5. Return to Täsch

Train to Täsch: Board the shuttle train back to Täsch to conclude your adventure.
