I Tried a New Behaviour Management Strategy For a Month: Here's What Happened

I tried a new behaviour management strategy within my Primary School for a month and heres how it went. Sometimes you just need to make changes within your classroom despite how comfortable you may be. The choice to try a new behaviour strategy comes from a conversation with my Deputy Head about how we use rewards in school and how it would be interesting to try something different. I introduce the concept to the class and the children became engaged in the idea of 'team': something not seen before.

This is something that is definitely worth giving a try within your classroom
