Sony Trinitron RGB Mux Mod, BG3R, KV-XJ29M31

In this Video i run you through and RGB Mod of a BG3R Chassis on the Sony Trinitron Range. The mod should be similar for all BG3R Chassis Trinitrons. This one is a KV-XJ29M31. I use the Teletext header in inject the RGB.

Basic steps as followed
1. Work Out Factory RGB inline resistors
2. Remove Factory RGB grounding resistors
3. Add in calculated resistors as per chart into external RGB Lines
4. Terminate RGB lines with 75R resistors to ground
5. Find 5V blanking point
6. Add is Blanking voltage divider resistor calculated as per resistor chart

Vero Board
Philips head Screw Driver
5mm Drill Bit (Blanking Switch)
8mm Drill Bit (RGB RCAs)
De-Soldering Gun (A must)
Solder
Flux
RGB, Yellow, White Heatshrink
