WE ARE FAMILY (Orangutan Documentary)

14 million years ago,
Homo Sapiens and Pongo Pygmaeus shared the same common ancestor. Today as a result of the mass expansion of our species and the great costs of which that expansion has produced, both the Sumatran (Abelii/Tapanuliensis) and Bornean (Pygmaeus) Orangutan suffer a great deal of hardship, very rapidly losing both their homes and their lives.
Unfortunately humans are responsible for this great decimation and are the only ones capable of one day bringing them into salvation.
This documentary hopes to highlight where we may have gone wrong since our evolutionary divergence and to where we may be headed going forth.
