Millennial Focaccia and the mistake with the citricacid #shorts #airfryer #focaccia

Baking has always been a part of my repertoire that is just shithouse, and I suppose this millennial focaccia bread just confirms it. Why did I use citric acid? For a little tang and to see if it makes the proofing process go crazy. Tang? Yes. Proofing? No: I'm pretty sure I used too much and it killed the yeast somewhat, making the structure more uniform and less stretchy/chewy than I'd like, but still "fluffy". Maybe someone can guide me on that?

Otherwise, yeah, the level of insecurity is what makes millennial focaccia work- aim low and you can discover things like baking bread in an airfryer! I think with a more traditional preparation, this could be pretty good, though the bottom doesn't get the same level of crust as it does in the oven (I put mine on the burner to develop that afterwards)

Just stay away from the avocados.

So if you're in a London shoebox apartment or somewhere equally as financially oppressed, a airfryer can get the job done!
