How to Fill and Color BLEACHED Hair at Home | Blonde Goes Brunette for Fall

Today I'm showing you how to fill and color your bleached hair at home! It's very easy, and the process is very simple. First, you fill your hair with the pigments that were stripped from your hair when you bleached it. Then, you add the color! Below I've listed all of the products I used and the steps and ratios. WHY IS THIS VIDEO "DIFFERENT" FROM MY LAST HAIR FILLING VIDEO?

I tried a different technique this time! Instead of filling my with actual red/copper/orange tones, I filled with Light Brown shades - you'll see it didn't make a huge difference (after filler is washed out and hair is dried). I needed my ends to be darkened just a little bit, and my ends were already a dark blonde, therefore not a huge difference. The idea behind using the light, warm toned browns is that when the hair color starts to fade, it will fade into the light brown shade you see, as opposed to an orange gingery-red that it would fade to if I had used the red/copper/orange pigments to fill my hair. STEP BY STEP PROCESS:

1. Mix equal parts of:
Redken shades EQ in 06GG Midas Touch
Redken shades EQ in 06GB Toffee
Redken Yellow Kicker
(1:1:1)

2. Once the above shades are mixed, add one part Volume 10 developer!
(1 filler mix : 1 volume 10 developer)

3. Once Filler + Developer are mixed, apply generously to bleached hair. You do not need to put it on hair that has not been bleached.

4. Let sit for about 20 minutes

5. Rinse Filler out and dry. (Some products do not always need to be washed out of hair, check the instructions on the products you decide to use).

6. Mix Color
Redken Color Gels 2NW + 20 Vol. Developer
(1:1)

7. Let sit for 25-30 Minutes, and wash it out!
