Mark Caso was a former USA National Team Member and elite gymnast with UCLA. Tom Pace was a former Jr USA National Team Member and elite gymnast at Cal State Fullerton. Both gymnasts broke their necks doing gymnastics and suffered from the twisties while training.

Grateful to have gotten a second chance at the sport they loved, Tom and Mark were lucky to survive broken necks and then return back to gymnastics to complete their competitive college careers in Division I gymnastics and train for the 1984 Olympics.
