Vintage Rolex GMT Master 1675 - 1978 serial 5551***

Things to look for:

Original dial - not re-finished or re-lumed
Original hands, ideally will match the colour of the hour plots
Original bezel insert in good condition and correct for the period - 70s ones will have red back, service ones will be blue
Original date wheel/indicator, should be silver steel in colour not white service replacement
Good condition case, not over polished
Original bracelet not badly stretched
Serial numbers intact
Take off the case back, look for corrosion
