Villa came out 2-1 winners over Brendan Rodgers side to progress to their first FA Cup final since 2000. 19 Year Old, Jack Grealish, made his first start for Villa in the FA Cup and played his best game yet for Villa on just his 4th start for the club, playing a key role in the 1st goal and assisting the 2nd and the winner. He lasted 83 minutes before being applauded off, replaced by Joe Cole. This was his best game yet, he went on to start every remaining game that season and playing a key part in Villa's survival. This game showcases his breakthrough game that let the world know how good the midfielder could be on the big stage.
