Peter Hitchens: Expansion of EU to blame for aggressive Russia

Peter Hitchens says Russia is a “hugely” diminished country, which has given up hundreds of thousands of square miles in Central Europe and Central Asia.

Speaking to talkRADIO’s Mike Graham the columnist said: “The policy of the German nations in Central Europe since the end of the 19th century was to try and destabilise Russian rule in the Ukraine…certainly the European Union in my view has been the continuation of Germany by others means.”
