THE DAY A V6 RAN IN PRO STOCK
In September of 1986, former Modified eliminator racer and turbo specialist, Buddy Ingersoll did what no other racer had done to this point in Pro Stock history. He drove a twin turbocharged car to not only a qualifying position during the 1986 IHRA Fallnationals in Bristol, but also reached the final. This would be the last V6 to ever race in the class.
