Algebraic Topology 15: Exact Sequence of Homology and Excision

In this lecture we show how to go from the short exact sequence of chain complexes to a long exact sequence of homology for a subspace A of X. We also introduce the excision theorem and use it to prove that homeomorphic spaces must have the same dimension.
