We were fishing off Marathon Florida when we encountered a huge school of breaking tuna, bonito and rainbow runners. There were hundreds of frigate birds which is not commonly seen in 120 feet of water. I decided to jump in and try and spearfish a tuna. I was to excited and forgot my fins when I jumped in. A few seconds later I saw some big sharks and got out of the water. It was very exciting but wish I remembered my fins and that the sharks were not there. The sharks were just passing by and did not approach me. Typically I am not worried when swimming with sharks but when they are actively feeding it is probably not a good idea to be in the water with them.
