Sailing through Hardships. | Nanda Kishore | TEDxRambaug

Orson Welles famously said, "A film is never really good unless the camera is an eye in the head of a poet!" Adherent to Welles' ideas, Nanda Kishore aspired and became one of the most promising directors of Sandalwood.

Being the son of a reputed theatre and film actor Sudhir, Nanda Kishore was introduced to the world of cinema at a young age. Not keen about it, he completed his BSc & worked in a company.

He decided to continue his father's legacy when he gave his mother a hand in running her drama troupe "Karnataka Kala Vaibhava" while battling depression post his father's demise. Opportunities didn't knock enough at his door thus, he turned to directing under the advice of a friend and actor Sudeep.

The constant struggle he faced dejected him which harbored suicidal thoughts. Call it fate or soul tie Mr. Sudeep counselled and took him back under his wing and he went on to lose 84 kilos!

This drastic change turned him into a phoenix and he chose to rose from the ashes! He kept giving out hits to the industry one after the other like "Victory", "Ranna", etc. Film Director & Screen Writer,
