Bayraktar TB2 UAV delivery to Poland has been completed
Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar announced that the delivery of Bayraktar TB2 to Poland has been completed.
The first set was received by the Polish Armed Forces on October 28, 2022. The delivery of the second set took place on April 14, 2023. The contract for the purchase of 4 sets of Bayraktar TB2 UCAVs for the Polish Army was signed in May 2021. The contract includes 4 Bayraktar TB2 sets in 2022-2024, ground control stations, SAR radars (Leonardo Osprey 30 with AESA active electronic scanning antenna), simulators, training and logistics package and spare parts package. The final system of Bayraktar TB2 was delivered to Poland on May 16, 2024.
Bayraktar TB2s delivered so far were deployed to the 12th Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Base in the Mirosławiec region of Poland. In this context, 18 TB2 S/UAVs that reached Poland are at the 12th Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Base.
