Operation of an electric bed in a semi integrated motorhome

This vehicle is a semi integrated Bürstner motorhome equipped with an electric drop down bed over the semi dinette.
Before lowering the drop down bed, the side back cushions must be moved to make way for the bed.
The bed is operated with a key. The key is put into the lock and turned one quarter position clockwise. The motor is now active.
The down arrow key must be depressed in order to lower the bed. Keep the key depressed until the bed reaches its maximum low point. Note that some electric beds will stop half way. If the bed stops, or pressure on the button is released, press the button once more until the bed drops as far as it will go.
Under the mattress at each side of the bed, there are nets. These nets are designed to stop things falling out of the bed – above all the occupants!
There are hooks either in the ceiling or placed on the furniture. Attach the straps on the netting to these hooks and tighten if necessary. Normally they will have to be adjusted only the first time that they are used.
First place the netting on the drivers side. Then place the ladder and climb up to bed. Once on the bed, the netting at the other side can be attached too.
There is a roof window above the bed. It is important to ensure that the roof window is closed but the darkening screen not drawn. In sunny, hot weather, heat can build up between the acryilic window and the blind which could impair the performance of the blind and even damage the window. Allowing heat to escape from darkening blinds is important throughout the recreational vehicle, but in roof windows it is especially important.
Operation of other types of bed has been covered in other videos.
