Nohab to Nyborg

Many US railfans are unfamiliar with the fact that there was a European "F" unit, manufactured under license by NOHAB of Sweden and AFB of Belgium. Long the workhorses of state railways in Norway, Denmark, Belgium & Luxembourg, they even ran behind the Iron Curtain in Hungary through the Cold War. With privatization of the state railways, they have scattered all over Europe. The example shown in this video is owned by CFL Logistics, and is operating on the little used branch to the Koppers plant in Nyborg, Denmark. This involved some side-of-street running through the middle of town, and some actual street running on the road to the plant. Service was down to once per week at the time of our visit in 2013, so being there on the correct day was important.
