BOEING 747 CLASSIC - B747-200 LANDING + DEPARTURE - The Queen of the Skies

The sound of the Boeing 747 classic was amazing. It was always a pleasure listening to the classic sound of the JT9D eninges and I kinda miss it. Right now in 2019 there are only a few 747 classics left in service. Most of them operate out of Dubai World Central, the new cargo airport of the UAE.

Kalitta used the Boeing 747-200 till 2017 and it was the last civil airline in the western world to use these classic workhorses. I even filmed the last departure of the last B747-200 of Kalitta out of Europe, which was operated by N793CK. Luckily an airline from Georgia took over 3 former Kalitta B747` s and they are still flying in 2019.
