As soon as people start talking about the Chinese manufacturers flooding our markets, you couldn't help but think of Richard Burton narrating the introduction to War of the Worlds with those "intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic, regarded this earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drew their plans against us."
