Sútok Horného Dudváhu s riekou Váh

Plynový most na rieke Váh je neprehliadnuteľný. Asi 1200 metrov poniže, ľahko unikne pozornosti sútok Dudváhu s riekou Váh.

Keď horská riečka Jablonka opustí kopce Malých Karpát zmení nielen charakter, ale aj meno. V Čachticiach tak vznikne Dubová a Dudváh. Sú to nížinné toky tečúce rovnobežne s riekou Váh v jej nive. Dubová tečie po Piešťany, Dudváh po Siladice.

Dudváh je vodohospodárskymi úpravami rozdelený na tri časti: Horný, Dolný a Salibský. Ten Horný nenápadne vteká do Váhu pri Siladiciach.
Confluence of the Upper Dudvah with the Vah river

When the mountain river Jablonka leaves the hills of the Little Carpathians, it changes not only its character, but also its name. Thus, Dubova and Dudvah will be established in Cachtice. These are lowland streams flowing parallel to the river Vah in its floodplain. Dubova flows to Piestany, Dudvah to Siladice.

The Dudvah is divided by water management into three parts: the Upper, the Lower and the Salibsky. The Upper one inconspicuously flows into the Vah near Siladicie.
