Julien Dandieu Philippe Noiret is a respected doctor in 1944 France. He sends his wife Clara Romy Schneider and his daughter to his childhood chateau to escape the war . When he arrives, he finds them murdered by a retreating SS platoon. His daughter shot. His wife burned alive by a flamethrower. 😨💔

Julien finds an old shotgun he used as a boy. He knows every secret passage, every hidden corner, every blind spot. He becomes a ghost. One man. One old gun. One mission . He sets a trap on the bridge, then starts hunting them one by one, letting two drown in the well . 💀🔥

The most iconic moment? Julien kills the SS officer through a two-way mirror, using his own flamethrower . It is pure cinema, where the dialogue is kept to a minimum . No speech. No negotiation. Just poetic justice . 🎭
