INGREDIENTS:
Mackerel fish (Aiyla) - 3 (600gm)
Coconut oil - 3 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
Shallots - 5 (sliced)
Garlic cloves - 3 (sliced)
Green chillies - 2 (slit)
Ginger - 1/2 inch (sliced)
Curry leaves
Salt - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 3 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Malabar tamarind (kudampuli) - 25 gm
Water - 1/2 cup
Coconut milk - 3 cup (second pressed)
Salt to taste
Coconut milk first pressed - 1/2 cup
Seasoning:
Coconut oil - 3 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Shallots - 3 (sliced)
Dry red chillies - 4
Curry leaves
Salt - 1/4 tsp
