Mixed Media Rescue - From Yuck to Yummy

Sometimes it's freeing to revisit an old project with which you aren't entirely happy....

After all, what have you got to lose? If you end up hating the result, then you aren't any worse off, and there's always a chance that you'll be happier with the piece after altering it...

Here, watch me fumble my way through a 'rescue' attempt. The structure of the initial piece is sound enough, but the finish?
