What the untrained eye may see as a collection of furniture, this group of Ōtepoti musicians see a charcuterie of opportunity. Paracosm Party are defying convention and taking lounge music to a whole new plane.

Paracosm Party creates a curiously electrifying experience as they attempt to sculpt noise into some kind of cohesive dance music via buttons, knobs and surfaces on homemade oscillator furniture synths.

See shamanistic cloaked figures alternate between the squeaks, drones and oscillations of a telephone, a radio, an armchair, and a pair of legs to create a somewhat improvised performance of frenzied dark bouclé trance music as part of the art and sound installation Monocle - Musical Furniture.
