As promised, the BEST vanilla cake EVER:

½ cup butter (113g)
½ cup oil (120ml)
1½ cup sugar (300g)
4 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3 cups flour (375g)
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1¼ cup buttermilk (300ml)

Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes.
Check cakes for springy-ness aka doneness.
Eat ALL the cake bc it's the BEST CAKE EVER. You're welcome.
