TERRARIA SPEARS ONLY
In Terraria, "spears only" refers to a playthrough where the player restricts themselves to using only spear-type melee weapons. These weapons are characterized by their stabbing motion and longer reach compared to most swords, making them excellent for keeping enemies at a distance and hitting multiple targets in a line, especially worm-like enemies.

While they can be powerful for crowd control and some boss fights, they generally lack unique projectiles (though some later-game spears do gain special effects) and can be less versatile than other melee options, sometimes leading to challenging gameplay. The lineup ranges from basic early-game spears like the Wooden Spear and Trident to powerful Hardmode options such as the Gungnir, Mushroom Spear, and the top-tier North Pole.
