|| IN SILENCE || A Visual Poem

In silence is a visual poem that shows how isolated the life of a person with an invisible illness can be. The incomprehension of the outside world can make the life of a sick person even more depressing. The withdrawal from society is a common occurrence for people with an invisible illness and this will also be an important aspect that a chronic illness can bring to a person. In this short poetic film, we will follow the story of my sister who suffers from very bad rheumatism.

I have made this form my assignment on the Willem the Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. With a big passion for emotional cinematic images, I have filmed my first visual poem ever.
