I'd also like to hear any comments or thoughts on the longer format. I left a LOT more detailed shots and commentary in this one so anybody really trying to learn might be able to pick up on some of the small details that will make their life easier and their opals nicer.

I used to only be interested in cutting the opals in a parcel the could be cut in to nice solid gems and everything else went into the "someday jar." If you have a "someday jar" by your machine collecting dust, and aren't sure what to do with it, today I'm going to teach you how to turn those jelly opals, and opal slivers into cold hard cash by turning them into amazing opal Doublets.
