What's more, with games industry convention and news fest E3 next week, you should expect a fresh wave of remasters to be revealed imminently. Take Skyrim HD, for instance: a prediction about which we are fairly confident, since this year’s E3 is leakier than a field in Wales.

Word of a remaster of The Elder Scrolls 5 bubbled up in a series of posts on the ever-reliable NeoGaf. These rumoured Skyrim HD, a prettified version of the open-world fantasy romp bundled with mods and DLC, will make an appearance at the Bethesda E3 conference on Sunday 12 June.

With both the Elder Scrolls Online and Fallout 4 out of the way, and with the next Elder Scrolls game presumably years away, now is the time for Bethesda to collect on the giant sack of Septims awaiting them for a Skyrim HD remaster, so don’t be surprised if we see this one in action this weekend as E3 begins.
