Hello friends!!! Today I have a demo from a batch of demos I recorded in mid June 2026. For sound reference, these are DI demos, and I'm playing a Yamaha RGZ (hot 80s humbucker, alder body, 24-fret superstrat w/ floyd-style tremolo) through just these two pedals and into the interface. This is demo 1 of 3 with the Ivy Pedals Sifter Fuzz effects pedal in Moon Grey and the EHX Holy Grail Reverb Plus.

Ivy Pedals Sifter Fuzz is an analog fuzz effects pedal with a simple tone/volume control layout. The "tone" knob- in this case the Filter Knob- controls the frequency cutoff of an analog low-pass filter with resonant/emphasis that changes over the Filter sweep. The fuzz section is a silicon fuzz with mild gating action that is affected by your guitar's controls. This pedal uses GP transistors to realize both the fuzz and filter, and I'm quite proud of this simple yet effective design. The Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Plus Reverb effects pedal is a newer edition of the classic Holy Grail Reverb. Here, I'm using an EHX branded power supply, which I highly recommend for any of their digital effects. They design their pedals around that specific supply, and daisy-chained or other lesser ways to power pedals produce noise, digital whine, and the pedal may not even function properly. Everything is smooth sailing with the EHX psu, though, and that's a small price to pay. This pedal, the "Plus" includes the "Flerb" reverb, which is a welcome addition to the more "normal" reverb types. The Hall Reverb is a 10/10 reverb, I had a Holy Stain a while back, and I really missed that particular reverb. The spring verb setting is probably my least favorite, but it's different from the other ones so I'm sure I'll use it somehow...
