A note..
I put off editing this video for a long time. I didn't think I'd be able to do the trip and what it meant to us any justice. Especially with the laid back footage I got, given that I wasn't there to make a video, focus on taking my best ever photos or fly a drone across the most immense landscape possible.

Our time on this trip was mostly unplanned apart from our very small knowledge of certain hot spots to visit along the way. We just drove and drove and had fun.. off the grid without checking the internet or updating stories for absolutely no need whatsoever.

Thinking back to that, it reminded me that no photos or video will ever do justice to the experience you had, what your eyes saw and the feelings you had on a trip that was so special.
At that point you have to realise nobody is ever going to see something the way you saw it anyway.

So then I finally sat down at my desk knowing whatever I make from the clips, this video will never be about the gear I used, the edit I did, the music I chose, whether I did the location justice or if people would think the quality is good enough.
