Here’s my review of the S.H. Monsterarts Gamera, from the 1996 movie Gamera 2. When you hear the words “kaiju turtle” you don’t expect to see a really cool looking monster…but that’s exactly what you get with this figure. This figure is TOTALLY COWABUNGA DUDES…I don’t watch TMNT.
So there’s apparently a whole debate about who’s better: Godzilla or Gamera? Godzilla vs. Gamera? Who would win? My opinion: WHO GIVES A SHIT. They’re both guys in rubber suits anyway, so they both lose and die of heat stroke. Well, technically now they’re both CGI abominations (in a good way), thanks to the recently released test footage of a new Gamera movie. In my opinion, the CGI in that trailer looks a bit fake. Japan should really try motion capture, because the Gyaos in that trailer moved too much like cartoon characters. Or is it just me? Leave your hate mail in the comments!
