As for the instrument in this video:
Up for sale on https://www.guitarcollection.com/ is the best playing and sounding Simon Marty guitar I’ve played, and I’ve played quite a few now!
Made in 2006, 640 scale, Cedar top with his signature radial bracing, and rosewood back and sides!
I bought this guitar after seeing a separate video demo of it (message me for link) where it was immediately recognizable that it was a world class instrument. And it’s true!
I’ve played (and owned) brand new ones, and older ones a like, and this one possesses a special quality.
Like you’ll hear me explain in the video, it’s extremely loud and clear, like Simon, Marty guitars are known for, but with a beautiful warmth and bloom to the notes that sounds beautiful traditional and it’s the type of sound that makes you want to keep playing and exploring.
Perhaps the best thing, is that it’s loud and clear, without the nasal drawbacks, that guitars that are exceptionally loud typically come with.
On top of that, it’s an extremely easy neck to play. This one was made thin, and 640 scale (10mm shy of the standard 650).
This guitar was also played by Aniello Desiderio, and the previous owner provided video of a concert in which he used it (can send link).
The condition of this guitar is excellent, especially for its age and the fact that it’s an instrument that’s been played. The finish was touched up at one point, and looks immaculate. There are hardly any marks under the strings in the polish, and only a bit of evidence, under the first string of a string slip in the past. There are no cracks or dings In the top or back!
A hard shell case is included with this guitar.
I hope you enjoy the video, and I have many more, like i said, so send me an email at theguitarcollection@gmail.com
