Adam struggled with addiction from a very early age. At twelve years old Adam began using alcohol and drugs to party on a daily bases. He continued his partying lifestyle throughout high school and into college. In Adams freshman year of college his best friend took his own life causing Adam to use drugs to cope instead of just partying. At the height of his addiction Adam overdoses and was charged with felony drug possession. This still wasn't enough for Adam to put the drugs down.
