Baroque-themed improvisation for the end of Mass
When I improvise, I do so in my own style which, at its very best, is a kind-of awkward combination of modern French and Howells. Improvising 'in the style of' doesn't happen well for me, especially when it comes to Baroque. I love the music of this period, and am inspired especially by the gorgeous dissonances one finds along the way. But, because I have only ever had 1.5 years of organ tuition, and have never had a piano lesson, the task is Herculean. So, today I decided to forget about my silly old ego, and just go for it. Please don't judge me!
