It's Been So Long - Villain Deku // BNHA Animatic (Part 2)

HOLY SHI- this took me 2 WEEKS of hard work to finish this on time omg. Like I’ve NEVER drawn this much in the span of 2 whole weeks in my entire life. Was it worth it? VERY. I really hope you all really do enjoy this one because I really do think I popped off while animating this haha. Either way, I had tons of fun animating this with tons of crashes and lots of lagging. (because the file was HUGE)

Technically this should have been a part 1 and the other should have been a part 0 because part 1 ties in with this one at the end but it is what it is.

Story (just in case I wasn’t clear enough in the animatic)
So basically this is my villain Deku’s origin story of how he became a villain and what happened before he kidnapped Bakugou (shown in part 1). After being driven to jump after being told he can’t be a hero and after years of bullying, he decided to end it all. But somehow (don’t ask me how ASAKSJK) survived the fall. Kurogiri just happened to be walking by and noticed him, with guilt he brought him back to their base. Leaving the middle school boy named Izuku Midoriya missing. When Deku was able to recover, he noticed All For One standing there. All For One was able to convince Deku to become a villain by using his past against him, with that he agrees and was able to get a quirk along with it. Bakugou has no clue that Deku attempted nor the slightest idea that Deku is now a villain. Deku was never able to say goodbye to his mother so also without knowing, she is worried sick for her son’s safety and wishes he’s found quickly. After 10 months have passed, Class 1-A was training at the USJ but gets interrupted by villains. In shock, Bakugou recognizes one of the villains among the group, and behold it turns out to be his childhood friend Izuku Midoriya. Without knowing what to do with this information, he stands there in shock. Obviously, Deku has gotten over him (what Bakugou has done to him) and is annoyed that he sees him there (Deku is just basically doing a mission together with Shigaraki and leading the group of villains who attacked the USJ in the canon series). After Kurogiri teleports the UA students across the USJ campus and after Deku decides to pick a fight with Bakugou. All Might shows up and since defeating All Might was Deku’s and Shigaraki’s goal/mission since the beginning, Deku ditched Bakugou and joins Shigaraki by his side. They fail the mission obviously and in the end leaving Bakugou with guilt after seeing his childhood friend working with the villains. Bakugou’s past is now starting to catching up to him, regretting what he has done and how he ruined such an innocent friendship with Izuku Midoriya. While that was happening, the League Of Villains are starting to expand and gaining new members of the group. Deku gets to lead their next mission on Shigaraki’s word, (yes you’ve guessed it) Their next mission was attacking the UA students at their training camp and kidnapping Bakugou. The villains think he could possibly be a new member of the squad and Deku knowing very well that he won’t join (but continues the mission anyways). After some fighting, Deku was able to chase Bakugou off and leading him the direction to Mr. compress (without Bakugou knowing) making him able to capture him easier. With their goal complete, They leave the forest using Kurogiri which makes them at the location of the League Of Villains base now. This is where part 1 is at but part 1 is more detailed on what actually happens in this scene between Bakugou and Deku. With that, since I never actually put an ending to it. Bakugou was able to hit Deku where it hurts and manages to escape easily but was it a bit too easy? Was there a reason why Deku didn’t use his quirk to make Bakugou stop from leaving? Well, I do know but I wanna hear your theories of what happened. I honestly love it when you all analyze my work because you guys got me thinking as well of what I actually meant there LMFAO. Yes so thank you so so much for watching! It honestly means the whole world to me. I hope everyone has a lovely month in October and hopefully this animatic made your year 2020 a bit better haha.
