Virtual Beachcombing Festival Speaker: Christina Sawka

Australian born and Philippine raised, Christina Sawka has lived in a small fishing town on the North East Coast of Japan for the past ten years. She considers herself a relative newcomer to beachcombing, and is thankful for neighbors and friends who help her identify origins of many of her beach finds. Springtime and new moon weeks you can find her combing the nearby beaches for gems. As a keen collector of Japanese sea glass and sea pottery, Christina's likes to share information and provide beachcombing solutions through her business, Reverse.Gem. She loves to create art through up-cycling beach treasures and has plans for some fun new products coming out. She will be offering glass fishing floats exclusively on Instagram @Reverse.Gem later this year.
