These designs are free, legal and in the public domain. This means that no one owns the copyright on these illustrations and you can use them for whatever purpose you like (personal or commercial).

I get asked a lot "what can I do with these images?" In this video, I walk through exactly how I change the image from the stock public domain illustration to make it original art. By doing this, I now have the copyright on the design. This helps protect you as an artist if someone says to you that they own the copyright. They don't. If you change the design in some meaningful way, it's now your design.
