Low calorie homemade hummus
Ingredients
1-2 cans of chick peas, depending on how much you make.
Save the fluid in the cans (aquafaba).
Lemon juice
Tahini
Extra virgin olive oil
Garlic powder
Salt
2-4 cups of chick peas
3/4 c aquafaba
1/4 c EVOO
2 tbs lemon juice
2 tbs tahini
Garlic powder to taste - usually 2-3 tbs
1 tsp salt or to taste
Blitz in blender, enjoy.
You can make hummus oil free and use all aquafaba. The
EVOO give it a little more smoothness to it. Plus EVOO is
so good for you.
There is no real set amount to use of the ingredients.
It all depends on how much you want to make and
how garlicky you like it. I like to taste the garlic but not a strong
taste..
