I put a lot of time and effort into it.
I usually make one animation from 10 to 12 hours.
I need to analyze YouTube and other parts of the internet for memes and ideas you might like, which takes between 40 minutes and 1.5 hours.
Taking an idea as a reference, I begin to write a script for the video, changing the original meaning (usually into a humorous one), which takes about 3 hours, but I spend only 1 hour of my time on it.
Next, I start storyboarding, which is the longest and most difficult part of the entire video creation process. I always spend 4 to 6 hours on a storyboard. Sometimes I have to watch tutorials on character animation and anatomy drawing. Also during the storyboarding process, I watch tutorials for drawing backgrounds for my animations, as perspective will always remain the most difficult part in the world of animation.
After the storyboard, I start drawing and correcting errors in the drawing from a professional drawing side, which takes me about 2-3 hours of my time.
Next, I need to apply a color to the gray drawing that will match the drawing rules, since if you do not use the same circle of colors and its parallel color rule, then the drawing and animation will come out of very poor quality. The process of decorating takes me relatively little time, namely 30-40 minutes.
Then I start placing shadows in the drawing.
You need to take into account the position of the bodies in space, where the light source is, and knowledge of anatomy, since without shadows the drawing will simply be flat, and the animation will turn out to be of poor quality. Arranging shadows and light sources takes me about 1 hour and 40 minutes (sometimes 2.5 hours). Why? During this process, you have to look at a lot of references (for example, a similar room, landscape or character in the same pose) and tutorials, which takes a lot of time and effort.
After the finished drawings, I begin the process of editing the animation itself. At this stage, I always spend about half an hour - an hour, since my experience in editing goes back to more than 10 years, and I can easily edit any video.
