Sailing to Brixham and waiting out the storm(s)

We find ourselves recently arrived in the port of Brixham, having just sailing over from Portland and before we know it, we're hit by not 1, not 2, but 3 storms in the space of a week.

Many sailing enthusiasts and sailors generally, we find, are somewhat superstitious, so when you stumble across a good luck omen like Carly did in this episode, in Brixham, what would that propel you to do that you otherwise may not?
