Staff Facebook Safety Tip No.2: Advising young people who are being bullied online

The Diana Award are one of Facebook’s safety partners. In January 2015, we took our National Anti-Bullying Ambassador Youth Board to Facebook’s European Headquarters in Dublin to learn about the tools and resources Facebook have to keep their users safe. On their return to their schools, the Youth Board have delivered presentations to their peers to share their knowledge on how to stay safe online. You can share this knowledge too by giving this video a thumbs up, or by sharing it. We all have a part to play in staying safe online and helping to stop online bullying.

The Anti-Bullying Ambassadors programme is part of the charity the Diana Award. Set up in 2011, we train young people across the UK and Ireland to be Anti-Bullying Ambassadors in their schools and communities. Through our training we equip them with the skills, knowledge and confidence to stamp out bullying online and offline and ensure everyone feels safe and happy in their school.
