Ivy Style: Its history and its resurgence today

Simon Crompton of Permanent Style chairs a talk on Ivy Style, with five leading proponents of the style:

- Alan Flusser, author of Dressing the Man and, published the same week, the official biography of Ralph Lauren

- Sid Mashburn, retailer in the US and one of the leading designers influenced by Ivy

- Todd Snyder, a designer making Ivy relevant for the younger, mainstream audience in the US today

- Nick Sullivan, creative director of Esquire magazine in the US

- and Richard Press, ex-CEO of Ivy stalwart J Press, and a writer and lecturer on Ivy
