DIY Envelope Style Cushion Cover | Easter/Spring Inspired

This simple technique shows how to make a simple envelope opening cushion cover using just one piece of fabric. I'm also showing you how to make a simple jumping rabbit motif to bring your cover to life!

It's easy to work out how much fabric you need, just add an extra inch to the height making a 16" cushion 17". Then double the width and add 8" for the overlap, (so for a 16" wide cushion that's 16" x 2 = 32" + 8" = 40"). Simple! You can use the equation on any size cushion when making it with an envelope back.
