Red Light Therapy Light Bulb Review - High EMF, High Flicker, Inaccurate Intensity

Here we review a generic screw-in style "lightbulb" for quality and contrast it to our GembaRed Beam.

We see how the bulb can be potentially unsafe if you expose the contacts inside, if you hold the bulb by the stem or cord then you are exposing your hand to tremendously high EMFs.

The intensity is often false-advertised due to companies using cheap solar power meters. This is why most of these bulbs will claim over 200mW/cm^2 at the surface.

Flicker is also high, the Lupin Radex shows about 35-40% flicker, when we get less than 1% flicker on our GembaRed Beam.

In general while the lightbulbs have a lot of potential to be a cheap red light therapy hack, as long as you are mindful of the safety and EMF and flicker concerns.

This is why GembaRed is so diligent to make LED panels like the GembaRed Beam that are ultra-high quality and safe.
