Turtle Dreams - Snorkeling Hawaii 2019

Life seldom gives you a perfect day.

This story is about one of those seldom perfect days. In the summer of 2019 in Maui, on a perfect sunny Hawaiian day, Jocelyn, my daughter and I went snorkeling, hoping for a chance to swim with turtles.

To reach the prime location, we would have to swim across 30 yards of deep water to reach the shallow coral reef in the middle of the bay where all the turtles were. She didn't even hesitate. She is fearless.

This is our story of that day.
