This episode of "The Sacramento Time Traveler" is all about film and photos at the old California State Fairgrounds on Stockton Blvd and fair history in general. The California State Fair was one of the most successful events of its kind at one time with events that included colliding steam locomotives, horse and car racing, teen fairs and other spectacular events. This is part 1 of at least 2 videos I will produce about the fair.
