I compare the mics on the Media Mod with the Go Pro Hero 8's built in mics, a lav mic as well as a Rode VideoMic Pro plugged into the Media Mod. The Hero 8 Black Microphone is actually more than one mic, as is the Media Mod mic. The audio samples may surprise you. Is this the best vlogging camera at this price point?
