Judging by the images Serena and her husband Alexis Ohanian have posted of their daughter, Olympia - like her sea friends - absolutely adores water and sea life.

His dad even shared a cute picture of his daughter while visiting the Ripley’s Aquarium in Canada with the following caption: “future marine biologist?” as the little one looks absolutely captivated by the colors and movements of the deep blue sea.

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian welcomed their daughter back in 2017, two months before the couple tied the knot in a fairy-tale wedding surrounded by friends and family. Since then, the tennis player and her digital entrepreneur husband have become one of the most stable and admired couples in showbiz.

Olympia’s arrival completed their love story and fans are hoping the couple will give her a little brother or sister at some point in the future.

Serena Williams has opened up about how she wants to make her two-year-old daughter Olympia proud by being a leader who inspires the next generation, noting that her heroes are now moms like herself.

The 38-year-old tennis champion sat down with Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour for a candid conversation about motherhood before her S by Serena Spring 2020 New York Fashion Week presentation at Spring Studios in Manhattan.

In addition to being a professional athlete and mom, Serena is a designer, a wife, and an entrepreneur. When Anna asked which roles take the most precedence in her life, she admitted that it was a 'tough' question.

'I really feel that being a mom is super important,' she said. 'But also being a leader so that my daughter can look at me and say, "This is what my mom did."

'I aspire to do that and I want to be better and I want to be something and I want to be able to help people. I want to be inspirational.' 'It’s really important to me to inspire the next generation because that’s what the future is.'

Serena explained that becoming a parent has changed her views and given her more admiration for working mothers. 'My heroes have changed. I always looked at different people. And after having a child, I was like, "My heroes are moms." Women are superheroes,' she said.

'To have a baby and have to go to work two weeks later, or three weeks later, or even to go work from 9 to 5 — I don't do that. ''I'm really fortunate where I'll wake up early at 7, I'll work until 10 or 11, then I'll have the rest of the day with my daughter,' she added.

'I'm so lost for words when I think of these women who spend day in day out helping and providing for their family and really doing it, when I know how hard it is for me to leave my daughter. I'd never felt that way before, until I became a mom. I think women need to be recognized.'

Serena also shared the advice she would give her younger self, revealing that she truly believes practice makes perfect.

'It takes a lot of time and dedication Some things at some companies might pop overnight, but that's such a small percentage. Nothing can replace hard work.'

The designer is known for her unforgettable tennis looks, but she shared that she doesn't mind when one of her fashion risks turns out to be a miss.

'I'm trying things out — sometimes, they are a miss. But that's okay. I think it's so fun, to have fun with fashion,' she said. 'In my sport, I have a great opportunity to play in something really wild and really fun, and really express myself.

'Sometimes, people only see me on the court. That's where I'm like, "This is me. I love fashion. This is what I want to do. This is how I want to express myself."' Of all the unforgettable outfits she has worn on the tennis court over the years, she narrowed her favorites down to two looks.

Serena wore her black Nike x Off-White tutu dress at the 2018 US Open in response to her full-body catsuit being banned by French Tennis Federation president Bernard Giudicelli.

After her conversation with the legendary Vogue editor, a diverse cast of models walked out wearing pieces from her Spring 2020 collection. Serena narrated the show and pointed up the materials she used in the collection, including vegan leather and sequins.

She had forgotten her microphone was still on, and the crowd heard her telling her models, 'You did so good. You looked great,' ESPN reported.
