How to repair loose rubber rings on lenses (without replacing it)

This is a video about repairing the loose zoom-, or focus rubber ring on camera lenses. I'm using a Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM lens for demonstration, but this repair method works on any other lenses.
In this video I cut a part of the rubber ring, and that's how I make it tighter, but of course the other option is to buy a new rubber ring, which sometimes isn't available, so in this case the only option is to cut the ring.
